Dana Nunnery McIsaac



KERSHAW, SC- Mrs. Dana Lynn Nunnery McIsaac, age 45, a devoted wife, mother and daughter went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Dana was born August 8, 1971 in Chester, SC, the daughter of James Richard Nunnery, Joanne Brown Sistare and Jasper Lee Sistare. Dana was the wife of the late David Bruce McIsaac III. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, spending time at the beach and reading. Dana was a diehard Carolina Gamecock fan and was a pajama and Netflix lover. Dana is a member of Frontline Biker Church in Kershaw.

Dana is survived by her parents, James Richard Nunnery, Joanne Brown Sistare, and Jasper Lee Sistare; four children, Matthew “Matt” Kennington (Jessica) of Fort Mill, Joseph “Joe” McIsaac (Nikki) of Rock Hill; Samantha Kennington Dutton (Kenny), and Coleman “Cole” McIsaac of the home; two brothers, Brad Sistare of Lancaster and James Nunnery (Kandy) of Paris Island, SC; a sister, Carla Davenport of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Knox and Josie McIsaac, Ava Grace, Lillie, and Noah Kennington, and Nathan Dutton and Caroline (due in September).

Dana was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Sistare.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Dana and David will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC by Rev. Cotton Pate and Rev. Michael Owens. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC.

The Family will receive friends from 5:30 – 8:00 Tuesday evening, April 11, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorials be made to Coleman McIsaac, C/O Wells Fargo Bank, 101 N. Hampton Street, Kershaw, SC 29067.
