William "Tracy" Morris



LANCASTER, SC………Mr. William “Tracy” Morris, age 46 died Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at his home. He was born April 25, 1971 in Lancaster, a son of Lynn Watts Morris and the late Max P. Morris. Tracy retired as foreman with Absolute Fire Control. He was a two sport standout at Buford High School. Throughout his life he was an avid sports enthusiast. Tracy was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of New Cut Presbyterian Church.

Tracy is survived by his mother, Lynn Watts Morris; his children, Austin Max Morris and Kaley Malevia Morris; a grandmother, Mary S. Garrison; Aunt and Uncle, Joe and Julie Ghent, and an Aunt, Lynn Watts all of Lancaster.

Tracy was preceded in death by his father, Max P. Morris; his grandparents, J.C. Watts and Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis Morris; and an uncle, Mr. Ronnie Watts.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Morris will be 3:00 pm Friday, May 5, 2017 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Cliff Henson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 -3:00 pm at Burgess Funeral Home. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
