Celebrating the life of Dr. Richard Lifsey
Thank you for signing Dr. Richard Lifsey's Guestbook

So sorry to hear of Dr. Lifsey’s passing. He was an awesome principal at Furman High. A principal that one could model after. He encouraged me to get my masters at Southern Miss which I did. I later received my doctorate in administration following in his footsteps. Have been an administrator for 22 years and have tried to follow his style. To his wife and family I extend my condolences and will pray for you. He was a good man.

Ron was my principal at Lancaster High School. Working with Ron was a pleasure because he cared about his students and faculty. I remember a faculty meeting in which Ron walked in with an armload of brooms. He was supposed to sell them for the Lions’
Club but decided he would have a raffle for the faculty. I saw him last at Jomars two years ago. He asked about my sons Richard and Brian. He remembered their names. We will remember him as a kind and gentle man who made a difference.

I wish to add my thoughts and prayers to the family of Dr. Ron Lifsey. I knew "Ronnie" when he was a sophomore at Reinhardt College in Waleska, GA. He was a brilliant student, hard worker, kind, thoughtful, and a dear friend. As I read the beautiful and loving messages written by friends and acquaintances of recent years, I can only affirm that the words of praise denoting his sterling qualities remain faithful to the young man whom I knew in past years. Blessing to his family. Shirley Gaddis Jordan

While I didn't know Dr Lifsey personally, I would like to commend him for his service to the country and for teaching the future leaders of tomorrow. I do know that he and his wife raised a fine young man in Matt. My thoughts and prayers got out to the family.
