Mary Threatt Williams



LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Mary Loneze Threatt Williams, age 80, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at White Oak Manor. She was born March 30, 1938 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Lawson Clarence Threatt and Ada Starnes Threatt and was the wife of Lonnie Hazard Williams. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker but also enjoyed being a Mary Kay Consultant. She loved to travel with her friends in her earlier years. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, was very active in Presbyterian Women and loved to sing in the choir.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lonnie H. Williams; a son, Lonnie Bob Williams and his wife, Paula; two grandchildren, Barbara Whitaker and Amanda W. Koehler and her husband, Billy; three great grandchildren, Annabeth Whitaker and Henry and Emily Koehler; a brother, Rev. Maxie Threatt and his wife, Sandra of Milledgeville, GA; and two sisters, Sybil Sellers and her husband, Howard and Betty Childers and her husband, Gene, both of Lancaster.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister in law, Donnie and Sue Threatt.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Williams will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Grace Presbyterian Church by Rev. Marty Simmons and Rev. Maxie Threatt. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:45 - 1:45 pm Saturday at Grace Presbyterian Church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 1026 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.
