Anytime I would ask Abby and Alex about their Granddaddy, they would always reply that he was the nicest man they have ever known. I knew this to be true as I could always tell just how much Nana loved him, simply by the way she looked at him. I will forever be thankful to him and Nana for starting the family that gave me my two best friends! My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

My dearest thoughts and prayers to this sweet family. It always made me smile and brought such joy to the girls at dance competitions to look out and see sweet Nana and Granddaddy cheering Alex and Abby on and loving on them. May you always cherish and remember the good times, the love and the laughter. Thinking and praying for you in the days and weeks ahead. ❤️

I could not have asked for a better Granddaddy. He found happiness in doing for others and his smile was contagious. We are so lucky for all the time and memories we shared with him. Heaven gained an amazing man and we sure will miss you. ❤️

My Granddaddy was what I would consider to be the truest form of a good man. He was hardworking, patient, and kind, really I could go on forever. I am so thankful for the love he showed me and my family, he always took care of us all. The past few years watching him live with the horrible disease of Alzheimer's was heartbreaking. We find peace in the fact that through it all he never stopped smiling that Cauthen smile! We are also comforted knowing he is now with the Lord. I would like to imagine he is driving around in a Corvette and of course, smiling! I will always love you my darling!
